Probably the worst Premier Inn I have been to recently, and I have visited a few!
The hotel is fairly well located, a short walk to the main shopping streets and square. The convention NCP car park is across the road (3 min walk), and hotel will validate the ticket for a discount.
Unfortunately, the inside of the hotel looks very dated: communal carpets stained, lifts in average condition. The rooms looks also dated, uninviting and a bit depressing: old fashion furniture, tiny TV, windows in average condition and dirty, bathroom dated and in average condition etc.
Bed was fairly comfortable, and the hotel was fairly quiet during the night (high floor).
This hotel would really benefit from a refurbishment, and bring the rooms up to date with the modern Premier Inn look.
I paid £95 excluding parking (another £16 for one night), so this is overpriced for what it is, and there are many better value hotels in Manchester. Probably not worth more than £60 per night.More
