We stayed here as we were going to see a show at the MEN Arena. This hotel is so well placed. Right near the MEN, Arndale Centre ( 2 Min walk from both). It was really easy to find, good parking (free). The rooms are comfortable, very clean and well equipped for a few nights stay. I have never stayed in a premier inn before but will do so again. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

If you want a great location (M.E.N, Printworks , shopping) with clean rooms a nice brecky, great staff and a down to earth ambience, look no further. Last time in Manchester (The Lowry) (over rated) paid the same price for one night without brecky than we paid for two nights with brecky this time. Just book it, its spot on.

Lets face it this aint a hotel your gonna go to for a holiday, the bar is big enough to cater for 20 people when there must be rooms for 300, the restaurant aint gonna win any awards with people who love good food, and theres no leisure facilities but we were only there to go see Peter Kay and his veranda over the toy shop! so we werent looking for anything more than location location location and value for money in an inner city hotel! What we got was all of that plus a huge great room with a very comfortable king size bed so it was great quite frankly! The only reason im not giving 5 stars is cos the bar area was so tiny! I have read some reviews about someone moaning about there not being double glazing, well there is so dunno where they were staying!!! We are not supposed to be judging things on here in comparison to high end competitors & vice versa, if we are staying at the Ritz we cant judge it the same as staying at a Premier Inn! You have to judge things as they are, as they are trying to be, a burger king is flaming lovely at times and so is a £30 plate of food but dont mark it against each other!!! This place is perfect if your staying a night or 2 in manchester especially if your going to the MEN. You cant find anywhere better for the price and the standard you get. Thats it! .........
PS please note they are about 40 free very safe car parking places for the perhaps 200 rooms so get there around check in or earlier if you can, it makes life a lot easier believe!

Like many others we stayed overnight to see Peter Kay. It really is only a few minutes away from the MEN. I pre-booked some months before and paid only £53 for the 4 of us (inc 2 teenagers). We had a huge room (402) with loads of space for the kids to have their separate beds as well as our double. Great service and good quality at a very reasonable rate. Breakfast very good , although a bit small and busy when we ate. Plus kids eat free for every adult which made it even better value. I'd have no hesitation in going again. Kids loved "Lenny's" hotel!

We also stayed this weekend just gone for the Peter Kay show at the MEN. The location is brilliant for both the arena and the city centre. We thankfully got one of their free parking spaces. We were very happy with our room, we asked for as high as floor as possible and get this, we had a great view. ALthough there was a wait at check-in the receptionist was very polite and helpful. We had initially booked a table at their restaurant however when we recently just how very close we were to the restaurants and Printworks we cancelled our reservation with the hotel which they were fine with. We would definately stay here again. However the only negative point was the breakfast. We had to wait approx. 20mins for a table and when we did get in we found both plates and hot items for food ran out. If we went again we would have breakfast out at one of the many nearby restaurants. We would definately recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed here for a Peter Kay concert like most of the rest of the guests. Location great for the MEN Arena and shopping area. Rooms typical Premier Inn. Originally got 517, which was like a wind tunnel and switched to one on 2nd floor, which was cold but better. Nice big bed and powerful shower.

Only moan -- after the PK show a LOT of people returned to the hotel and there was only one overworked lady on duty at the bar. We gave up after about 40 mins waiting. The MEN Arena Premier Inn has 23 floors and 18 rooms per floor at least, which tells you how many guests there can be. The bar area is way too small and this lack of a possibility to get a drink after the show spoiled what was otherwise a lovely evening.

Couldn't ask for a better location to shops, bars and restaurants. Had trouble with bedroom door not staying locked, so had to move rooms, but service was very good and we were given free breakfast for our inconvenience. The breakfast was really good, would recommend it. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had a brilliant first time in Manchester and would go again.
