Really enjoyed the stay here. Price a little expensive but I suspect that is what you pay in a city centre. Bed tended to move a lot when one of us moved and it woke us up. Breakfast was good value and the staff were very good indeed. Parking was a bit on the expensive side as they do not have their own car park but they did get us 30 per cent off.

Would we stay there again? Probably. It was convenient for the city centre shopping which was the reason we went.

Stayed for 1 one after the Coldplay concert at MEN. Paid just £19 for the room. Have to say simply outstanding value
Fresh clean & comfortable room, no problems with the bed, plenty of hot water for the shower, TV , hot drinks etc.
Minor delay at check in was only thing could think of to down mark
Had the breakfast prior to leaving - first class; quality food, unlimited for just £7.99.
Previously always tended to use Ibis about 50 yards away but preferences definitely now reversed

Room Tip: tends to be noisier if your your room fronts Portland Street

Visited Manchester for a theatre visit and for the Christmas Markets. The automated check-in was relatively easy with staff available to help. The room was of decent size and clean and well maintained. We only used the restaurant once for an evening meal and was not really impressed, there is a Wetherspoons virtually next door serving good breakfasts for about £3. The location of the hotel is good being a short walk from Oxford Road Station, Palace Theatre, Chinatown and other restaurants.

Typical Premier Inn - decent size room and comfortable bed. People still refer to them as budget hotels but is £108 for a double room and 2 breakfasts budget? The best tip I can provide is to request a room at the rear of the hotel; unfortunately we didn't and had to contend with the noise of Portland Street. The rear is nice and quiet. The breakfast was better than others I have eaten recently in other "budget" hotels and the staff were very helpful.
Some others on our party had to request 2 room changes and another couple receved a full refund due to the problems with their room. It seems that some of the rooms need some maintenance/upgrade. Just something to be aware of. All in all the usual emotionless experience but not too bad.

Room Tip: Room at the rear - very quiet.

This is city centre easy to use hotel in good centre location. Rooms are bog standard Premier Inn. But as always with this chain the bed and bedding are really comfortable, and the rooms are clean on arrival, although not exactly fully serviced if you are staying 2 or 3 days. But then the prices are budget. Always seem to have to ask for extra loo rolls? or is that just me? On the up side the staff are always friendly and efficient at this chain which I think must speak well for the companys attitude to its staff and its training programmes.
Easy to use with fast self check in screens if you want. Hotel is good for business overnighters or city week-end events.
