“Great 2nd Stay just a shame about the noise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 April 2013

I have stayed in hotel twice in the past year. First time was excellent and even this time we did have a great stay however we were at the back of the hotel and it must have a bar nearby as we were woken up 3 times hearing them emptying their bottle bins. We then heard the bins being picked up by a truck at 6am. Other than that we did have a great stay and a decent buffet breakfast.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Sunday and Monday night while Man united were playing at home. The room was very clean and the shower was great. The staff were a bit pushy on arrival but helpful and there was only a few tea bags and milk in the room we were give more at reception. the Wetherspoon down the stairs was great and cheaper for breakfast than the Premier Inn. Overall we enjoyed our stay

We stayed at Travelodge (Upper Brook Street) the night before, as this hotel wasn't available and the difference was huge. This hotel was fantastic for a budget stay.

From our first arrival the staff were acommodating, helpful and friendly. We arrived early as we were seeing the Lion King at 2 so stored our luggage in the available room with no hassle.

Every encounter with staff left us with a great lasting impression of this Premier Inn's employees and service.

Rooms were large and no complaints at all about the facilities. Would recommend.

Stayed one night in a large spacious family room, double bed and 2 singles perfect for me and 2 teenage sons, clean standard premier inn furnishings , but the staff go out of the way to make sure the stay was above standard, from check inn to check out the level of service was second to non constantly asked if we needed anything. The breakfast was good value as my sons ate free with me buying breakfast and again our waiter was very helpful and attentive. Have stayed in several premier inns and always received good service but the staff here especially stand out above all others, would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a short break in the city .

I stayed here with my wife (wheelchair user), for a few nights. We booked a disabled room but were disappointed that it didn't have a full wet room (none of the rooms do) but had a low level bath. Staff were very understanding and sympathetic but could do nothing. The room was clean, tidy, quiet and spacious. Whenever we needed to speak to the staff they were very friendly. We needed the duvet cover changing, I asked at reception and within 10 minutes (during the day) 2 staff appeared and changed it for us, and were very polite and genuine.
We didn't eat in the hotel (including breakfast) as Whetherspoons is 30 seconds round the corner so generally we ate and drank there.
It is close to all local amenities, and everything you could possibly want is on your doorstep. Aflecks palace is 5/10 minutes, the Cathedral about 15 minutes, China town on your doorstep.
Be warned on car parking: It is very expensive even with the discount it is also very difficult to find. Turn first right past the hotel and it is on your right (behind Novatel) blink and you'll miss it.

Room Tip: We were rear facing and it was very quiet

Stayed here for two nights as part of a trip to see the city lights and enjoy the rugby - reasonably convenient to the main area of Manchester and did everything well that goes with a Premier Inn! Easy check in and impressed that the staff managed a group of rather well worn boys on their stag night. Could be easier to find the front door and no, it wasn't because of the beer goggles...! Great Indian restaurant next door.
