Arrived early to attend Grillstock festival. No problems leaving our bag before heading out and also no problem about leaving our bag the following day prior to departure from Manchester. Front of hotel staff (in particular Sue), extremely pleasant and efficient. We were allocated one of the newly refurbished rooms, which are lovely. The beds are even more comfortable and at no time did we hear any noise outside the room.

Stayed here for a working week on business. The hotel was having the new premier inn refurb and looks very good for it. The rooms seem of a good size and really comfortable. It's great you get a nice big tv now too. All in all a really decent room to be a base for a week. What really set the hotel apart from some others of a similar price band was the restaurant and the staff in it. We had the bonus of having buy 1 get 1 free on drinks which was great. The staff who worked there were very welcoming and really easy to get on with. The food was always decent. The reception staff were also very helpful when I needed them. The location is really good too with if being only a ten minute walk from the Armadale and all the main Manchester Central locations.

I paid about £95 for a single occupancy double room with breakfast. The reviewers who got the £29 deal are probably more satisfied for obvious reasons - staying here is not worth nearly a hundred quid. By the way, get ready to be underwhelmed by the dingy little entrance door and the reception experience: there are now check in machines, like a cheap airline or a supermarket who have striven to put their workers out of a job. Reception here is a mean and uninspiring affair in a pokey little room. In the sanctuary of your room stand by for the usual Premier Inn regulation issue non-opening windows and airless rooms - then submit yourself to the indignity of the RB211 powered aircon. Take earplugs. Take some nice shower gel too.

Excellent once again. This hotel has been refurbished and is looking excellent, clean and fresh. Comfy beds, excellent lighting. Powerfull showers, The staff are friendly and on this occasion she managed to move us onto the same floor and close to each other for convenience. We where able to leave our suitcases so we could enjoy a shopping day on Manchester.
