Description: Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities. Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly.

This restaurant looks and feels a lot more up market than the prices on the menu suggest. The service from start to finish was excellent and both myself and my boyfriend really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely return.

Wide choice of 2 courses for £9.95 - not often you could get terrine followed by artichoke heart & pea risotto at that price - nice decor & pleasant staff. Liked the complimentary bottle of water too. Will certainly go again.

We were there last weekend, 4 of us. The staff were excellent, attentive but not intrusive. I was however, disappointed by the food.

We ordered from the set lunch menu. My tomato salad started lacked flavour. There is no point in using different coloured tomatoes and a few mini croutons if there is no added flavour. It was also dry, no dressing or oil.

Cote never fails to meet our expectations. The star is the food, which is reasonably priced, well presented and superbly cooked.

Stumbled upon this little gem on Saturday.
We had the theatre special, 2 x courses for less than £10.00 each !
Service was great and the food superb.
No doubt we will be back here very soon.
