“Just lovely!”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

My mum and I had lunch here today and thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was great, we both had 2 courses for £9.95, plus a couple of extra side dishes. The mains (chicken in a provencal sauce) were very tasty, and the desserts were good too. But it was the service which really made the day. Our waiter was called Michael and was so helpful and smiley, it was my birthday and he brought a candle in my ice cream, a lovely, thoughtful touch. We will definitely return!

“Great breakfast!”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

I have been here a couple of times for breakfast and on all occasions I and the people I am with have thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Plenty of variety and portion sizes. Had the full works, brilliant and great value to a more simple traditional french eggs. Would really recommend for breakfasts, albeit only served from 8am, i would like a bit earlier to eat before work perhaps.

“Lovely lunch in a lovely place”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

My friend and I decided to try this restaurant after I had received a voucher entitling us to a complimentary Kir Royale with our set £9.95 lunch. First impressions were very favourable as we were told we could chose our own table and were given a warm welcome from the staff. Although the menu was quite limited we chose as vegetarians the chick pea cake with spinach which was nicely presented and tasty. Water was given as standard and served in a stone bottle with a stopper which was different. Service was very good and our waitress with the plaits was very friendly without being intrusive, and our chocolate pot dessert was that nice we could have eaten it again! Not the largest of portions but sufficient for us. Would return again for the set meal. Service charge is added to the bill.
