We visited a friend studying in Manchester. He had read somewhere (maybe Facebook)about this new place and suggested to visit it . According to their website it seemed interesting and we were not at all disappointed afterwards either. It was such a great experience! The 1 hour (55 minutes actually as we escaped earlier) seemed like 20 as it was so exciting.
It is absolutely a unique way to spend an hour so I also recommend it to everyone!

“A Real Life Tomb Raider!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014

---NO SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW LIKE IN SOME OF THE BELOW ONES---

We were visiting a friend in Manchester who recommended us to check out this new game in the city center run by some Eastern European dude. It was supposed to be like Tomb Raider or a detective video game IN REAL LIFE... well, it indeed was! I'm not gonna write more on the game itself and would also suggest future raters not to in order not to spoil anyone's fun.

I couldn't agree more with the current rating of this attraction: FIVE STARS!

“Amazing experience”

We were recommended Make a break by a friend in Manchester. It was the most brilliantly fun evening, a challanging experience. It was not easy to make it out, but we were all trying our best to get out. Hurrah!

“A must do in Manchester”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

Manchester has som traditional British lures to offer to visitors - pubs, football and ales. For those with a bit of an adventorous mind, like myself, who are looking for something slightly different, the Make a break experience is the perfect choice. Upon arrival we were escorted into one of the oldest buildings in Manchester city center - an abandoned printing house. This rather unusual atmosphere sets the perfect scene for the game. According to the theme, we (the 4 of us) were secret agents, and had to rescue one of us, who had been kidnapped by the enemy. The tasks encountered were thrilling and neeed diverse skills to solve, which made each one of us get involved depending on what you were good at. The big clock counting down just increased the pressure, which was something we expected and were looking for anyway. The chap who was coordinating the game was really nice, and tried to make us enjoy the experience as much as possible without spoiling it. All in all, we made it out in just about an hour - phew, what a relief. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend to anybody with a restless mind and a few andrenalin fuelled, game loving friends.

“Best Escape game ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2014

Best Escape Game Ever!

I am still experiencing severe heart palpitations but also feeling happy and proud to escape the room in 59 minutes. We had like 10-15 seconds to open the final door and we made it.

As a seasoned online and offline escape gamer I can say that this is the best escape game I have ever played. Keep up the good work.
