Stayed here for a couple of nights in March this year and had a good time. The rooms themselves are large but are a little dated. The restaurant was expensive but worth the money, I had the best fish & chips ever! I would recommend the hotel for just an over night stay or for a few days - just be prepared for a 10 minute trek to any where else as its isolated (other than being next to the train station)

We have just spent an excellent weekend at this hotel. We called in to leave our bags at 11am and found that our room was ready for us. The view from the 8th floor window was great and the facilities were excellent. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and the delicious breakfast made a wonderful start to the day. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable base close to the station which is about 100 metres away.

We've just returned from a great weekend at this hotel. It's literally a 2 min walk from Picadilly train station and 5/10 from Picadilly gardens so the location is spot on. The hotel is clean and modern. Food great especially the breakfast. The rooms are spacious and have Bose iPod speakers, big bathroom with power shower. We had a problem with our spa treatment booking but this was resolved and we were compensated very well. All staff in this hotel are fantastic especially Allen on the front desk, he is extremely efficient, helpful, warm and friendly and a credit to the hotel. We will be back!

I stayed here over the past weekend and must say, I was very impressed. I booked a superior room (not a great view but excellent room) the room was a 'little' tired with some scuffs and marks BUT it can be easily overlooked. The bathroom was great and the king sized bed and black out curtains meant that a great night sleep was easy. The bar in the evening was nice. Only disappointment was that they had ran out of ingredients for a few of the cocktails.
Car parking £17.50 overnight and secure.

Dear Callum S,

Many thanks for taking the time to review us and I have messaged you to gain a little more information as regards your stay as the team take great pride in presenting every guest with a pristine room and so I can have our painter in that room to resolve any scuff marks immediately after your reply.

Apologies if we didn't have all the ingredients for your favourite cocktail but on your return we will. To assist I would be delighted if you made contact personally when next you are planning to stay so we can ensure your stay on that occasion is perfect.

Thank you once again and we look forward to your return.

Kind regards

Just spent 3 nights here as a supposed treat for my good lady's birthday. Having been lucky enough to spend time at some of the other major hotel groups' premises, this was a bit of a disappointment. It was clean, but for such a newish hotel it already looks a bit tired. We were in supposed Superior Double room but didn't even have a drawer in which to store the smaller things one carries on a 3-night stay. There was only a set of narrow shelves tucked away in a narrow wardrobe which were awkward to access. We didn't spend any extra money in the hotel as their prices for drink etc. were a bit steep, especially the room bar. Still never worked out how to control the heating. Breakfast was passable. Staff were helpful and polite. All-in-all I just expected a bit more from a place that was charging well over a hundred quid a night for the privilege of my custom.

Stayed one night 30th March, had a lovely room reception staff were excellent, special mention to the guy who looked after our luggage and booked our taxi on departure. We turned up on a tow truck (long story) staff were very symperthetic and helpful. Would return, but not in a tow truck. The room was spotless and the coffee in the bar, was some of the best we have tasted.

This is an imposing modern hotel with seemingly endless numbers of rooms. However, the staff, decor and general feel make it seem quite a cosy place to stay. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed very comfortable. Our shower was hangover-busting amazing! We stayed one night after a gig at the Apollo which is just a few minutes walk away. Shops, bars and restaurants are equally as close, although in the other direction!

The downsides; the parking is £17 for 24 hours, breakfast is £15 pp and the bar charges around £4.20 a pint, it does seem like money is being siphoned out of your wallet at every turn. However, the parking is secure and in the city centre so probably is on par with the usual NCP / Q-Park prices, as you get 24 hours so it leaves time to go shopping after breakfast. The bar is nicely decorated with table service, but is still overpriced. £15 for breakfast made me laugh, we went to a lovely cafe in town and had an amazing breakfast for half that with change for lunch!

Overall, I would stay again and happily recommend it.

Room Tip: City view rooms offer an interesting view over the skyline.
