This hotel is such a pleasant surprise. As soon as you walk in, to when you leave, its nothing short of beautiful. The rooms are nice and big along with a generous sized bathroom and great facilities for tea/coffee. It's also nice to see a trouser press (Corby. Only the best) and a decent hairdrier. Our view was amazing, looking back over onto the pennines. Breakfast was real nice with plenty to choose from and comfortable cosy seating. All the staff we encountered were friendly, and willing to help out wherever they could. The next time we stop over in Manchester this is where we'll be staying for sure.

Stayed at the hotel with my niece and sister in laws and our best friend on Friday 15 November. Wow what a fantastic hotel. Reception staff we great and made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. We had a meal in the steakhouse, and Marco was so professional and such a lovely person. It was my nieces birthday and he made us feel like we were royalty. Thank you Marco and all the staff for making our stay such a memorable time.

Room Tip: There were 3 of us in room 352, fantastic view and the room was so big and so comfortable. The view...

What a lovely relaxing stay. First impression was excellent this was due to the warm welcome on reception by Neil. The room was so spacious, spotless and very comfy large bed. Had all amenities you need. Ate in the bar, tasty food and reasonable price, big portions also. Once again staff behind the bar very friendly. Breakfast was a lovely relaxing experience with lots of choice. We booked this hotel for its location, attending a concert at the Apollo. But I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it for a stay in manchester. In fact attending another gig in December so will defo book again.
Once again compliments to the staff for making our stay so special.

Lovely meal at this hotels steak restaurant. Best steak eaten since I was in America. Fantastic service and lovely friendly staff. Excellent advice given re wine . Certainly not the cheapest meal but you definitely get the quality you pay for here. Thanks to meg who was our waitress who advised us about some good local bars to visit as we didn't know manchester well.

First time staying here as a treat for my mothers birthday on the 13th nov after seeing Wicked at the near by palace theatre, Where to start.. The staff on reception were very polite and helpful and explained all I needed to know.

The room was very spacious with a great view and a lovely little touch with the happy birthday plate in the room. The bed was very comfy and HUGE! It was also very clean no dust in sight as the other reviews say.
And the spa is great such a chilled out place to spend your time lots of different rooms to try.

Room service food was exceptional( compliments to the chef) and the young lady who delivered was lovely. Breakfast was great the waiter (Tom I think it was) was very polite and nothing to much trouble. Only downside was no hash-browns at breakfast :( Thanks for a lovely stay, will definitely be back in the future!

Stayed 1 night on business and they couldn’t have done any more for me. Needed some documents printing and then scanning amongst a host of other things and they went out of their way to help me with no issue at all.
Room and facilities were great, would definitely recommend and stay again,
Thanks

Stayed in the hotel over a weekend on a business visit. This was the first time that I had stayed at the hotel, and when I received the booking wondered what it was going to be like.

I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms in the hotel were spacious and well looked after. Must admit that was surprised by the size of the bathroom to have a bath in it and a double shower, that was a bit of luxury. Only meals had in the hotel were breakfasts and they were of a good quality, and made a change for someone to come round and offer to top up your cup for tea or coffee. One of the mornings I wanted scrambled egg rather than fried or poached, and could not see it out on the top, asked the chef and he went under the counter and produced some scrambled egg.

One advantage of the hotel is that it is close to Piccadilly railway station, only down side is that it is a bit out of the centre of Manchester, but then you have a tram station in Piccadilly so it is not that far to walk.

Dear David,

Thanks so much for your kind review it is appreciated and I'm so pleased that the team did a great job for you. Unlike most hotels our Chef works on the Counter and will do anything for our guests that are required as we know how important that meal is as well as quick attentive service. Thank you for recognising that as well as the quality of our rooms.

I believe we're in a great position for all things Manchester given our location, easy walk and vicinity to the station but I know what you mean if you are new to the city.

All the very best and please let me know when next you visit so I can say hello.

Kind regards
