Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here on the 19th July. We were greeted by happy and eager to please front of house staff who made sure we had everything we needed prior to being given our room. The room itself (executive suite) was very spacious and spotlessly clean. A great room to chill out in! Breakfast was first class and everything was readily available. Will Definately be back.

I went for one of the "feature" rooms, to get what I assumed was their best bed, and top floor. Not a lot more money, but quite an impressive room, with a panoramic window, and a view of the Pennines (I think!).

Only thing that woke me was the sunlight where I'd failed to close the curtains properly.

Polite, quick check-in and check-out. Really good restaurant, enough other singles dining not to feel awkward being on your own.

Massive shower.

Only thing that annoyed me was that your room key had to be in the slot for the power to come on, so my laptop didn't charge while I was at breakfast, which was inconvenient.

Room Tip: Feature room, if you can stretch.

Visiting friends who live in Manchester and got a deal at the McDonalds. Lovely room great to have large bathroom with shower as well as bath. Bed huge and bedding delightful and comfortable . We were early at the hotel and thought we would leave cases in reception while we explored the area and they said they would check us in and we were in rooms by 10.00 result. Lovely public areas bar good and service good didn't use spa so can't comment on this. Breakfast good plenty of food, service on second morning not as great as the first but it was exceptionally busy and they did warn us it would be busy.
Very warm weekend and air com not working I did mention to the reception and they says they would sort, unfortunately we were in late that night and didn't realise till early hours it still wasn't working !!.
Great location for the station walked to the hotel and then to get around area the transport links amazing. Will book this hotel again without a doubt especially on a deal

I frequently travel to Manchester and this was my fourth stay here; I'd stay everytime if there was availability at a sensible price. Excellent room, excellent staff and free access to the spa if you stay on a week day. Breakfast is well worth paying for. Ideally located adjacent to Manchester Piccadilly rail station (15 minute train ride from the airport) and a short walk from the city centre shops/bus/tram station. If you are arriving in your own car, use one of the public carparks nearby as the hotel is rather expensive (£20) and you have to pay for a full 24 hours. The standard rack rates are silly, book via Trivago or similar for a sensible deal if available. I paid £86 for a double, which included breakfast for two.

Room Tip: Last digit even number rooms overlook the hotel entrance, odd number overlook the railway station. i...

This is a fantastic hotel with stunning large rooms and great facilities. The rooms have fantastic air conditioning, iPod docking stations with speakers into the bathroom, which has both a bath and shower. The beds are large and very comfortable, had the most amazing night sleep! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were there to help whenever needed. The food in the bar area was reasonably priced and delicious and they had a great selection of drinks. There was a great range of food at breakfast to cater for everyone's needs. For an additional cost, you can have the use of the Spa which is well worth doing as it is a great way to relax. Great location for traveling by train as it is a 2 minute walk from the station.
Altogether a lovely, clean, and friendly hotel.
