I attended the Zinc Bar and Grill with 20 colleagues from work as a reward for the hard work we had carried out the previous 12 months.
Not being a person who goes into Manchester much, I was first charges £4.50 for a pint of Boddington's ( Ouchhhhh), was not expecting that.
We then waited in the bar area whilst we all had a natter and was then called up for our meal after about an hour.
I chose Duck Spring Rolls as a starter and that's all I got.
Two Spring Rolls lost on a plate with some kind of sauce in a little container. No garnish or salad to go with it. having said that, the Duck Rolls were very tasty.
The main course I chose was a chicken and again was very tasty but all I got with it was a small cup of chips, ( again no garnish or vegetables).
My sweet of choice was rurbarb bakewell with a small blob of ice cream.
Just to clarify, all the courses were very tasty but in my opinion, there no colour or imagination put into the food.
Management paid for the food which was very nice of them but I do not think I would go back on my own steam.
