Stopped here for a late lunch (early Dec) on a whim, with no idea what to expect, and were very pleased with what we found :)
The venue itself, while a tad shabby, is clean and the brick vaults lend it a great ambience, Service was top-notch and - most importantly of all - the food was terrific, All 3 of us chose the fillet steak for a main course (most expensive main) and asked for it to be cooked 3 different ways. It was. It was also mouth-wateringly delicious which, I admit, came as a bit of a relief because I have so often been disappointed by fillet steaks in restaurant of similar class. Not this time.
Starters and deserts were also excellent. The bill came to just over £30 a head for 3 courses each plus a drink each and a coffee each, Very good value for money.
Next time I go to Manchester, I'll make a point of eating here.
