We stayed at Hotel Boreal for our first ever trip to france . When we arrived , we were welcomed by English speaking staff, so had little trouble getting to know the place . Rooms are nice , clean . Breakfast is good specially fresh orange juice and egg boiler . Hotel is well located close to the main shopping market . there are nice restaurants closeby . What made our stay pleasant was , the friendly and helpful staff which helped us during our stay there .

A pleasant place to stay - not particularly exceptional, but extremely reasonable. A bit pricy for what you get (we paid over 140 euro per night - which was more than the posted rate, due to an event being in town).

Centrally located in Belfort and quiet. Staff is helpful and congenial, although a bit stubborn with special requests (i.e., an extra blanket and a request to split the double bed into singles, but they eventually helped out). Short walk to town.

Rooms are modern and clean, although not large. The bathroom was a bit murky with some mildew, and there is no fan to clear humidity. The toilet is separated, but has no ventilation.

Breakfast is good, including fresh juice and good coffee. Breakfast staff are especially prompt and friendly.

Parking costs extra and is extremely tight.

Room Tip: Fourth floor has high ceilings in the rooms.

Our stay at Hotel Boreal was a sentimental return to Belfort from whence four years ago we had started a 12 day trek through the Jura region. On this occasion it was at the end of our 25 day trek through Les Vosges from Wissembourg in the north.

The hotel has maintained its freshness and quality finish and professional, friendly welcome. Our twin room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom first class. The breakfast was, again,of excellent quality and it was a great luxury to be able to linger over it.

We stayed here at the end of our summer holidays and stayed in the superior double room 305 (list price 120€). The rooms are fairly new, at least there aren't any signs of wear or aging in the usual spots. The wide, gapless french double bed is comfortable and silent. Lighting is plentiful, even LED reading lights at the nightstands, and very customizable.
Walls and doors are fairly sound proof (we never heard anything from our neighbors), and the thick carpet muffles additional noise. The room is 5-sided and has a floor-height window to the street in one corner.
There are separate rooms for bathroom and toilet, both pretty basic in equipment. The shower is also a small-ish bathtub, sufficient for one person at a time. Water pressure was fantastic, and the traditional shower head has three settings.
Internet via Wifi is up-to-date (1600kB/s down, 450kB/s up), although some ports are restricted and only one device can be logged in at once.
The small and dark underground garage has about 20 very cramped spots at 7€ per piece. Parking and traffic situation in the vicinity is a nightmare, so I'd recommend booking a parking spot anyways.

Situated down a quiet residential street. 2 minutes' walk from the train station, 5 mins walk from the old town. Restaurant and creperie across the street.
Good points: clean, modern room, fairly spacious, sparkling clean bathroom, separate toilet, extremely good value for money. Airconditioned. Free wifi. Quiet. Staff were so nice - spoke English, were friendly and polite and even offered us a free coffee when we were waiting in the lobby to leave.
Bad points: nothing to complain about, except the wifi was a bit slow.
Didn't have the breakfast.
Wish I could find this kind of standard everywhere!

Having found nowhere to stay at Vesoul and with the tourist info shut, we tried this hotel at random and were warmly welcomed. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre and the family room was spacious and clean with air con and separate en suite bathroom and toilet (handy when traveling with germ free adolescents). The room rate was very reasonable although the breakfast and secure parking were extra - still worked out surprisingly cheap. Breakfast was good, including an egg boiling machine on which you could set your own time and a mechanical orange juice squeezer.

This is an ideal hotel for an overnight stay while travelling. It is centrally located, close to restaurants and the old town centre. The rooms are very clean and while not overly luxurious, they are very pleasant in a quiet side street a short distance only from a main street. Staff was extremely friendly (they speak good English) and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Underground parking is available. Overall, a very pleasant experience. We would definitely stay there again.
