Little Venice is a small area within the historic centre of Colmar but well worth a look. The whole of the centre is lovely and well preserved . Worth going in the little boat trip to understand a little of the history and definitely try the tarte flambé while you’re here.
More like a little Bruges, Belgium, than a little Venice. Crowded with tourists on the Saturday we were there.
Took the Little touristic train around Colmar to visit the whole of the town in a quick way. And after the tour, decided to walk back to Little Venice cause it was our favourite! As per its name suggests...it reminded us of Venice, but an ‘Alsatian’ version of course with all the pretty old town houses.
A very picturesque part of the town that is not to be missed!
We loved Little Venice.It was a colorful,busy and lovely place.We enjoyed every single minute in little Venice.The buildings are stunning.
