Great location, welcoming host. Met on time, showed us around the apartment, explained everything, showed us on the map all the attractions. Parking round the corner for 11 euros a day. Short walk to the river and shops, attractions. Amazing lightshow at Notre Dame.
We spent a week in this comfortable very well-equipped apartment. The owner, Horst greeted us at the apartment and showed us how to use all the facilities. The king-size double bed was very comfortable and one of the reasons we chose this apartment. All the rooms are very clean and seem newly fitted. The bus and tram stops are almost outside and a large shopping centre is one street away with an excellent large supermarket and post office. There are several good restaurants in the same street as the apartment and the rail station is a short walk away. The historic centre is a short tram ride away or about fifteen minutes on foot.
Location is great. Walking distance to main sights. Shops and transport close by.

We were only there for 3 days but had a warm welcome. Our host spoke English which was very helpful. the flat was lovely, modern and very clean. It was in a central area but very quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to a friend. Linda and Gary
This apartment is ideally located close to trams & easy walking access to the city centre. The apartment itself is up an flight of stairs & is more spacious than the photographs suggest. It was VERY comfortable & had ample storage space, which made staying for a couple of weeks an easy option. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for self catering & the fridge was a decent size. We were met by the owner who was both friendly & helpful . It was very hot whilst we were in Strasbourg & as with every place we stayed in France, there was ample provision of heating options for when the weather was cold, but not so many for cooling the apartment when it is hot. The owner generously came to our rescue by providing an electric fan, which really did make a difference. I have kept the business card of this apartment, and if I'm ever back in Strasbourg, this is where I'll hope to stay again.
Ignore the appearance of the building on Streetview!! Horst and Anne-Marie have recently totally renovated this apartment and it is excellent. It is very well located on a tram route and not far from the main station. The huge Les Halles shopping centre is just two blocks away, with excellent supermarket, bakeries and other shops. It’s an easy walk to the old, atmospheric districts on the island, where better restaurants are plentiful.
The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious, and the bathroom is great, with a big shower and very good washer-dryer. The beds are very comfortable and the excellent double-glazing ensures a very quiet interior, despite being located on a busy road. The electronic gadgets are top-class, with a fine TV and very good wi-fi. Highly recommended.

A truly outstanding and well appointed apartment with nothing lacking. The kitchen had all the little things you needed for self-catering (salt, oil, etc), books and DVDs for adults and kids in multiple languages, and there was more than ample storage space for your stuff and for groceries. Well located next to the old city with easy access to public transport and a parking garage about 500m away. Parking is expensive, but the landlord provided daily tickets that significantly reduced the cost (need to leave and re-enter daily to get make discount work). I would absolutely recommend this apartment to friends and family.
