I travelled alone on business. The hotel is very conveniently located (10 minutes walk from the Council of Europe and 20-30 minutes walk mostly along the river from the city center/Cathedral), in a very quiet, residential neighbourhood. The room and the bathroom have been refurbished and are spacious. When i entered, the room smelled of old (probably draperies and the floor covering), but I liked the fact that they did not use any artificial fragrances (as they make me sick, literally). The bed was comfortable, the wardrobe spacious enough for one person or two on a short trip. The staff was friendly.
The mini bar was almost empty and there was no kettle. I did not have breakfast there as I thought it was a bit pricey at EUR 13. There were two places I liked quite close on my way to work, and two or three more i did not have time to try out.
It is a very nice little hotel in a lovely neighbourhood at a great location. I would warmly recommend it.More
