“Cute and comfortable but small rooms”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

The hotel is very close to the train station and at the border of the historic part of the city. Rooms are divided in 2 buildings and according to the building you can have small rooms with low quality WiFi. The breakfast is pleasant and abundant. Service and personnel are good and kind. The quality/prize of the hotel is not bad for a short and business stay in town.

Arrived a bit early, but no issue, waited 5 mins to get our room tidied up. Only downside noted was like most hotels in the city, they had a small elevator. Room was adequate in size and very well equipped. Spotlessly clean.

I have nothing but praise for this little hotel. Wonderful value for money at Euro82 with breakfast included. Amazing breakfast spread with two hot dishes - scrabbled eggs & sausages (which is not a norm for a three star rated hotel in France). Plenty of fresh fruits as well eg apples, bananas and kiwi. Do take a chance on this delightful little hotel you wont be sorry.

When we arrived the lady at the reception said that we had been upgraded from a comfort room to deluxe. When we reached the room on the 4th floor, the key card would not work, then once we got into the room there was ugly scaffolding outside the window with people at work who must have been smoking as the room smelt of it. When we went back to the reception the lady feigned ignorance of the works, which must have been on for weeks and said now we would have to take a Comfort Room. The next morn during check-out on being asked about our stay we mentioned the incident to the manager and he rather than apologising proceeded to claim that the lady at the reception was unaware of the works!
The breakfast was adequate, but was slow in being replenished, the sausages were undercooked, must say the fruit juice and coffee were of good quality.

Conveniently placed near the Railway Station and a couple of streets from the Old Town . Very well appointed rooms and a substantial breakfast included in the price which is a bonus since in many hotels in Strasbourg breakfast has to be paid for separately . The staff were helpful and ready with advice on restaurants , cafes , places of special interest and will book Boat trips ,city tours and restaurants The overall quality is excellent at a very modest price Some other hotels in the City are eye-wateringly expensive and look less appealing . When we go again to Strasbourg this will be our choice.

Room Tip: Just ask the staff .

We recently stayed at this location on a one night stop in Strasbourg. We were happy it was a short walk from the train station. We had been in Paris, the weather was very warm the comfortable air conditioned room was welcomed. Our room was clean quiet and the location is perfect for walking everywhere. We enjoyed the nice selection on the breakfast buffet which was included with our rate. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

I stayed here for one night at the beginning of my two week vacation in France. From check-in to check-out, it was a pleasure. Friendly staff, a room much larger than anticipated, very clean, good breakfast, close proximity to the rail station. It was also with walking distance to the cathedral, good restaurants and shops.. I'd highly recommend it, and I'm a picky traveler!
