A place with lot of posh and "m'as tu vu" attitude people but the cuisine is pretty well executed and the set menu seems to change on a regular basis. I was there with a friend for lunch and paid about 50 euros/ head for aperitif, starter, main, desert, coffee and a bottle of wine. The service was a mix of very cold and a bit arrogant from one of the guy and polite, friendly and helpful from the other guy. They also don't seem to have a physical menu you can read if you want to eat a la carte but you have to read from a board which is in the middle of the room...
A place I would recommend if you are looking for a sophisticated and posh place with good quality food for dinner or lunch.

This is still my favorite restaurant in Strasbourg! It's so fun to have a rotating menu; I love seeing what they come up with.

The atmosphere and ambiance are so lovey. Not stuffy at all. I've been impressed with the food every time I've been. It's a great place to take visitors or for a business meal. You need to make a reservation well in advance - especially during December!

We ate today at the restaurant "les sales gosses" today. Frankly, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering the good comments we read on this restaurant. First of all, it is not centrally located, but that's ok, it is still easy to access. Secondly, the menu sounded good (although more French than Alsacien", but the food quality was poor. The appetizers were small and tasteless. The main courses were badly cooked, and with a savorless taste. Food is supposed to be home made but I have my doubts... Service was deferent, but arrogant... Wine was really bad, and the attitude of some of the staff was questionable, but it definitely reflected the name of the restaurant...That was maybe the point. And what a lack of class to bring chemical candies with the (horrible) coffee. We may have just picked a bad day as other comments seem to be quite good, but we're not going back for sure. Also, the price is high for Strasbourg and for what it is worth. Really no point. Nb: one exception, the young guy taking orders and serving beverages, who was really nice.

Based on TripAdvisor recommendations we reserved a table at this restaurant and were not disappointed. We would agree with the positive reviews on the excellent and innovative quality of the food here, it was certainly one of the best meals we had in a while, the recommended wines were wonderful, while prices are certainly reasonable for the quality offered, It is a nice idea of having a list of specialities from various regions in France with a changing menu every six weeks or so and gives the idea of going on a culinary adventure. The interior was modern and inviting, the service good and friendly - but waiting times a bit long. This is not a criticism on the hard-working and busy personnel but they could well use an additional help in from waht I understand is usually a fully-booked restaurant. I agree with another reviewer that the place could be improved in several small ways and that at the same time one cannot argue with the good price-quality ratio, the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence 2013 is well-deserved.

The food is very good, well presented and tasty, innovative, and not too expensive. The wine list is a little short and conservative, but again at reasonable prices. Service is friendly. They could make this place "better" in lots of small ways, but the current quality/price ratio is hard to beat.
