We arrived late in the evening and we were lucky to have a free park place just infront of the hotel. Plenty of restaurants just a few minutes walk from hotel were available and still open.University / 5 min./ and center /old city 15 min. walk from hotel. Clean rooms and descent breakfast included.

Room Tip: "Rooms on the back side are quieter"

really well placed for the university which is why we chose it and really cheap but you get what you pay for. Slightly shabby rooms and not the most comfortable beds but clean and tidy and OK for a short stay

I spent 2 nights in a room on the 6th floor. It is a kind of attic room. very small for 2 persons, a small window high. The worse thing was that a broken, leaky and unlocked accordion door divided the room from the bathroom. Actually between the bed and this door there is no more than half a meter. There is no privacy.

Room Tip: Not having a room on the 6th floor. very small room for 2 with a small window.

Hotel is based 2 or 3 stops from the city centre. There were 4 of us and for 24hour tram passes it cost 9.50e in total. The parking outside was free and there was also free parking at the bank nearby which was handy.

The rooms are nice, big enough for the 4 of us. The shower was amazing. Quiet outside, something that may be hard to find int he city centre.

Staff were really helpful and the guides and maps at reception were a great help!

Only downside was the fact you only get 2 hours worth of wi-fi we hadn't been told this and as there were 4 of us travelling we all wanted to do something online at some point!

Having read some infavourable reviews on this hotel, I had little doubts as to my choice to stay there for 4 nights during my recent Strasbourg trip. Luckily, the hotel turned out to deserve his two stars, even though its real standard would clearly not go beyond that. The room I was given was quite tiny (a normal standard in France...), looked a little outdated, but had what is necessary for one person to have: a small desk, a place to hang or put on the clothes and a small bathroom with WC. What was good about the hotel was a free wi-fi that even worked, if I was patient and smart enough to leave my room and wander along the floor with my laptop to catch the connection somewhere between the elevator and the staircase...:)
I did not take the breakfast option therefore, no opinion on the food.
All in all, a hotel worth considering, mainly due to its good location (where the city center and its nice old architecture stop, giving way to ugly blocks of houses) and an excellent connection to both the old city and the European instututions where I happen to work...

the hotel is situated right next to the main tram line which is brilliant for access to the city. Parking is very poor, 6 places at most in front of hotel, and available as and when cars move off, otherwise its basically street parking...not my idea of secure parking. Wi-Fi availability, very very poor and so slow as to make it virtually impossible to surf the web. Room itself was clean and quite modern, although both washbasin and toilet had suffered damage requiring them to be glued back together. bed was very, very soft and spongey, not very comfortable at all. cannot comment on breakfast as we did not bother, but if like the rest of the hotel description then i would expect a below adequate quality.
