The choice of dishes was excellent the lomo queso (pork with fondue) and the duck hearts were exceptional.
Also good choice of wine and everything very reasonably priced.
Service was very good without being over attentive , it was even recommended that we shouldn't order too many dishes as they were quite large servings.
If we return to Bayonne then Pero Que Si would definitely be paid another visit.

This is a really nice place along the water on the petit Bayonne side. We had a calamari dish in oil and garlic and a sort of chorizo quesadilla. Both were superb and our server could not have been more helpful in getting us to understand the Basque dishes.

It is in the city centre by the river front. Meal sizes and prices are okay.

We had dinner there and everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed their lomo queso (fondue) and chistorra taloa. Even though it was a Friday night and the restaurant was quite packed, the waiter was always very attentive in case we needed something else.

The only drawback was that it was a cold night and we were sitting down around one of the tables near the door and in spite of the sign "Fermer la porte SVP" (close the door, please), quite a few customers left the door open when leaving.

This is a very nice place, although I would recommend to bring a jacket if you are going in the evening, as all the tables are outside, which is lovely when it is still sunny, but can get chilly when the sun goes down and there is wind. The food is excellent! They are medium sized dishes to be shared (larger than tapas), and they are absolutely superb!
Very friendly service as well.

We had a meal there on a Bank Holiday week-end and it was heaving with people, nevertheless the owner looked after us and reserved a table outside that was going to come free soon.

We had a great dinner of fish and shellfish, the razor clams were particularly delicious!

They also have a good selection of different wines and eating in front of the river was great and atmospheric.

Excellent food and a friendly attitude, what's not to like!
