A very nice hotel in a good location, close to the town centre.
Also very close to a large underground car park, which is very handy when you're travelling around France in your car.
The family room we booked was very big. The room consisted of an open plan kitchenette/dining room which also had a double bed and sleeping area at one end.
The other end of the room was possible to separate with sliding doors. This part of the room doubled up as the bedroom for our kids. A sofa bed and a pull out bed were sufficient for them. This room also had seating and a TV.
The bathroom had a bath, separate shower and a wash basin.
There was also cupboard and wardrobe space.
Double doors which could be opened fully, allowing a breeze into the room were very welcome. There was also a narrow balcony, which, despite not being very private, was nice to be able to stand on and watch the world go by.

This is a well located place with nice, clean, spacious rooms. It´s well worth the price you pay. Bordeax isn´t that big, so Adagio will serve you as a place to explore the town. Staff is very nice and helpful (my safe had a problem on Sunday a morning and they solved the problem in no time without charge).
If you have a car they do have parking (paid separately)

We stayed at Adagio Bordeaux for 3 nights recently & had a lovely time.

The staff were very helpful from the start & explained everything well. They actually gave us a double upgrade from a studio for 2 to a 4 person apartment. Wow! The room was clean & spacious. With a dividing door to close off half into another room.

Plenty of windows & a great view. Adagio are great because they have the laundry downstairs, which is convenient when travelling. There was also a gym, sauna & turkish bath.
I had breakfast one morning, and while I normally prefer to take breakfast in the local cafes, it was enough - with pastries, cold meat, cheese, juice & coffee.

The location is excellent, with the tram stop around the corner at Meriadeck. There is an Auchan in the shopping centre nearby, with cafes & a large take away type food place in there as well.
There is also the La Poste, right across the road.

Wonderfully central at an affordable price. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms with all amenities (kitchenette - no need for the dishwasher). Get a room on the interior garden side, otherwise street noises might be bothersome. A stone throw from Meriadeck (shopping center, food store), all of the action and a tram station.
No need to sign up for breakfast, best to get your own from the close by shops or eat in the nearly creperies.

Room Tip: Room on the interior garden.

Neat hotel, fairly spacious rooms, well organized with office table and chair, convenient power and mini kitchenette. Freezer is great for beer, and other essential beverages. Free wifi, modern design and overall good selection in Bordeaux... In Bordeaux sometimes you can get a reasonable but quaint hotel wi small rooms and 'antique' fittings, this is a sure bet for modern comfortable rooms at a budget price...

Room Tip: Rates decrease for long stays (4 nights and more). If you are two, try a 3 person room... Not much...

We had trouble finding the place in heavy rain as address 'Rue Edmond Michelet' is really redundant street now and not marked on maps. We took aircoach to its first stop on Place Gambetta. Look for street off same in south west corner called Rue Bonnac, two minute walk along and you will see red Aparthotel signage for Adagio fronting out to small modern park.

The next block along is Merideck Shopping Centre and very handy for everything you might want. Post office is on outside of block and bus and tram routes are in this direction so handy. No air conditioning in April so need to turn off heat and open windows. Traffic noise was not a problem. (we were third floor to front). Odd about no washhand basin with toilet? Everything else was so perfectly and stylishly designed. (Knob to open fridge door was too small.... we tied a cord to it and that helped!)

We got the local no 1 bus back to airport from Place Gambetta.... middle of day and it took same time as more expensive aircoach.

Room Tip: Rooms to front have nice aspect to small park, always something of interest but do not get direct su...
