This hotel is about a twenty minute walk into the centre of Bordeaux. in a very quiet residential area. The hotel isn't very easy to find by car due to the murderous one way system in Bordeaux.
The rooms are quite big and comfortable and they also have a well equipped kitchen area. As such they are probably best suited to longer stay guests.
The hotel has a very regimented intitutional feel to it and this is reinforced by the offhand manner of some of the staff. You need keys, cards and codes to get in and out of the hotel, the pool and the parking area and the reception is closed and shuttered at about 6 pm.
The hotel has reserved spaces in an underground parking house. This is a very dark, dank and potentially scary place.
The breakfast was actually one of the best we ate in France (which isn't really saying much).More
