We are just back from a trip to Bordeaux for the bank holiday weekend. Booked les seraphines based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Generous sized rooms, stylishly decorated, 10 mins walk from the centre of town but in a quiet neighbourhood and great value for money. Juliette was very friendly and helpful. She also got in touch by e mail in advance so we were able to ask about best way from the airport etc. Great value and perfect for a city break.

A charming old town house, decorated with a great eye for colour and style, in a quiet street a pleasant walk from the city centre. Our room was spacious and comfortable, as was the lovely breakfast room, which has comfortable seating and lots of local information for guests to leaf through. Breakfast was ample, with delicious home-made jam, and Juliette could not have done more to make us welcome and advise us about what to see and where to eat during our very short stay in Bordeaux. Cycle friendly, too - Juliette was happy to let us leave our touring bikes in the hall overnight. Merci!

This is my first time traveling to Bordeaux and frankly to Europe. My stay at Les Seraphines was absolutely lovely - the room was incredibly clean, bright, and wonderfully decorated and the breakfast was delicious. Juliette was immensely helpful in helping me learn about the town and even drew out places I should visit on a map and called different tour groups to help me book a local tour. The restaurants and wine bars she recommended were definitely local gems.

Our welcome at Les Seraphines was warm and friendly. Juliette gave us all the help we needed for a really happy experience. She also very kindly arranged an earlier breakfast to fit with our other plans and the breakfasts were wonderful. I would not look for other accommodation in Bordeaux, it would be a pleasure to return to visit . The B&B is very close to the centre of the city , just a pleasant walk. This B&B is a "home away from home" ..decorated in a very eclectic way and gives the feeling of a holiday home . Very restful.

Room Tip: I had a room on the street, the lights from there were a little intrusive.. if that is a concern per...

- Helpful and friendly host
- Good value for money
- Excellent breakfast - fresh, home made and nice selection/variety
- Spacious, clean and nicely decorated room
- Easy on street parking
- 10 minute walk to city centre
- No air-conditioning, but two windows and a fan meant the room was comfortable in the heat
- Only improvement to our room would be a ceiling fan (and a queen sized bed)
- No telephone available

Thank you Agathe & Antoine for your hospitality during our 4 night stay in Bordeaux. A&A are very friendly and helpful hosts, offering useful advice on sights, restaurants etc, and show a genuine interest in their guests enjoying their stay. LS is a really good b&b and a great base for discovering the city, in a quiet residential area but about only a 5 minute walk from place gambetta and the historic city. Traditional townhouse with many original features and rooms artfully decorated, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was a great start to the day, with all you could want, e.g. freshly squeezed orange juice, filter coffee, fresh bakery bread, homebaking or croissants/pain au chocolat, homemade jams and compote. Kitchen facilities available for guests to use during their stay which is very handy. Will stay again if in Bordeaux in the future and would highly recommend.

Les Seraphines what a great find. I had read a few reviews on Tripadvisor about this B & B; my partner and I booked a few days at Les Seraphines at the end of March this year.
Our rooms were immaculate; we stayed in two rooms (my partner 3 rooms) during our trip, which I will explain later. Our first room, was on the second floor; breakfast room is situated on a lower floor. I will post a few photo's.The room was airy and an excellent use of space - shower/toilet. The other room we stayed in, was a twin room; once again felt airy and good use of space. My partner had stayed in another room, again very airy. I cannot fault the cleanliness for all rooms we stayed in, the owners Agathe and Antoine are exceptional hosts, very friendly, courteous and took great pride in being the perfect hosts. Our breakfast was plentiful, cereals, cake, croissants, bread and cheese; I adored the tea strainers. Now the reason we stayed in the different rooms, on our third day, bearing in mind we were due to leave on the fourth day; I was hospitalised with a serious eye injury, and our stay in Bordeaux was to be extended; our super kind hosts had other bookings for their rooms hence the juggling of rooms. We both felt that Agathe and hubby-husband, looked after us and showed compassion to our dilemma; we are both very grateful for your kindness and would definitely recommend your lovely home and warm enthusiasm for your guests. We wish you success with your business

Getting from the airport:
Very well positioned for a short walk into the city centre and a short walk to bus stops and trams. We caught Lianes 1 bus (bendy bus) from the airport, very cheap 1 euro 40 cents per person, the tickets can be used on the trams, which need to be stamped on the buses/trams vis machine;the ticket duration is for an hour.
