Fantastic location everything about this hotel was fabulous. We were greeted by smiling helpful staff and then taken personally to our completely refurbished room. The garden bar was also delightful with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not one negative thing to say. Thank you for a memorable stay

Room Tip: Room 3 was gorgeous with a small charming balcony

This hotel is located in a great part of Bordeaux. A short stroll to luxury shops, cafés, bars & restaurants along with a 5min walk to the river. The hotel is very clean and very well run by staff who are very keen to ensure our stay was everything we wanted. Nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was excellent along with the wine tasting and the two day wine tour they organised with bwinetours which was excellent. We highly recommend le Boutique.

A quirky, modern, well styled place. In a great location in Bordeaux with parking a minutes walk away. Overall a very positive experience. The room was perfect, well priced and styled so no issue there. Food was excellent and the wine bar appealing with a knowledgeable team of staff running the place.

If I was going back to Bordeaux I would happily stay there again, with no criticisms at all. It's just a shame the wine bar isn't busy with locals to add some vibrancy but I guess it is a little off the main track as far as they are concerned.

Thank you though for a lovely stay.

We had an enjoyable 3 night stay. While the room was on the small side the height of the room gave a feeling of space. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The walk in shower was in the bedroom and there was a seperate bathroom area with the toilet and hand basin. It was a very comfortable and lovely room.
We had a balcony and while it was on the main road at the front of the hotel and as a result noisy we did make use of it. Traffic noise could be heard in the room from early on and the air conditioning was noisy too. Much to my pleasant surprise I still slept well thanks to the great bed.
The young staff were really pleasant, professional and welcoming.
Parking in the local shopping centre was €43 for the 3 nights with the discounted rate. I was also very grateful for the Sat Nav to find the parking. Once at the hotel the main sites are within 10 minutes walk.
There was so much to do in this city we really didn't get chance to make the most of the bar area at the hotel which had a really pleasant garden. We chose to eat out at all times and had some fabulous food.
The Nespresso coffee machine in our room was great. With a Nespresso boutique just around the corner to top up on my favourite capsules it was ideal. In fact with a free coffee for both of us for a purchase of a sleeve of coffee it was a real bargin.

This small hotel whose rooms are named for the famous wine chateaus around Bordeaux is a delightful base for a visit to both this beautiful city and the vineyards. Baron Hausmann worked here before Paris and the elegant buildings attest to this. The hotel is in one of them, but the decor of the individual rooms is modern and an interesting contrast. Our room on the floor above the reception area was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff ,as other reviewers, have noted is young, eager to help and always so pleasant with every request. We had several and their patience and persistence in solving them was remarkable. Do not rush out of this city as there is so much to see and do. At the hotel a delightful way to start understanding wine tasting is right at the charming bar and their tasting introduction. Then the staff can offer several ways to venture out to the great chateaus to continue to explore tastings.

Booked this room directly with the hotel because of all the great TA reviews. Perhaps those reviewers had a better room? The staff here was lovely and ever so helpful and friendly. Their suggestions for dinner were spot on to what we love. Our room, Chateau La Gaffeliere, was at the back of the bar on the ground floor. It was a large room, however, we had a few issues with it. First, the jacuzzi is in an attached separate room. Unfortunately, it was filled with not so clean water (which they graciously changed the next day). The light in this jacuzzi room never turned off despite telling the housekeeper of the problem. Like many European hotels, the shower leaves a lot to be desired. It is a walk in shower with a wand that sprays all over the tiles bathroom floor. No fan makes for very foggy mirrors and no windows in the room make for a humid environment! Like I said, they are very responsive to issues that arise. For example, we returned late to our room the first day only to find That our room had not been made up. They apologized, sent housekeeping right over and gave us a complementary glass of rose while we waited in the bar. (Would've rather napped before dinner as we were quite jet lagged!) One last thing to know, while the hotel is conveniently located, the parking is in a nearby garage and while it has a reduced rate for hotel guest, it was still a bit pricey (47€ for 3 nights). I would definitely recommend this hotel and it's lovely staff however I would request a different room!

Dear Client,

Thank you for posting this comment and taking the time to tell us your recent stay with us. First of all, I truly am happy to hear all the nice things you had to say about our staff and your overall satisfaction.

On the other side, I am really sorry to read that you were disapointed by the room and wish you would have told us when you were here, this way we would have chosen another room for you , more suitable to what you would have wanted. Indeed, all of our rooms here are very different from one another. For example the one you stayed in is the only one of its category to have a jacuzzi, which are otherwise only in our suites, and also has a small private courtyard. I understand it might not have been the characteristics you were looking for, and regret we didn't have the possibility to make you discover something more adapted to your needs.
Nevertheless I apologize for the small issues you encountered in the room , since then the lighting problem has been solved.

I hope we will have the pleasure to welcoming you again amongst us

Warm regards,

We stayed three nights here in a junior suite that they upgraded us to for no extra charge. The staff were wonderful, all spoke excelelnt English, asked how was your day, and handled everything we wanted. The hotel is located near the shopping and restaurant areas. The room was nice sized, well appointed with coffee maker and wine. The breakfasts were excellent. Can't say enough about this hotel, Would definitely stay again. No onsite parking, but parking a few blocks away.
