Description: New gourmet restaurant located in the old Bordeaux, "St Pierre" district. After many years with great chefs (Alain Ducasse, Alain Senderens, Michel Portos), David Grangier and Olivier Rouland wanted to combine their expertise to offer their "cuisine", simple but tasty and seasonal products and flavors have a prominent place. David and Olivier welcome you in a warm atmosphere. The restaurant is open every day except Sunday and Monday for lunch and dinner (open Monday evening from May to September)

“Eat there now before its too late”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

After getting settled into Bordeaux for a two week holiday i searched for fine dining restaurants. After a couple of disappointments came the absolute jewel in the crown. The Davoli is without doubt on the ladder to fame, the Chef is excellent, the balance of flavours for the Foie Gras dish was perfect ( Le Tour D'Argent in Paris could not better it). The tasting menu is an absolute bargain, all in all excellent with great service and definitely on their way to a first of countless awards and a Michelin Star. I liked it so much i booked for a second night, eat here soon for when the awards star to rain down booking a table will get difficult.

“Perfection!”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

We booked this restaurant for a group of friends. Every aspect of our experience was perfect, the food was the best we had in our five days stay in Bordeaux, the finesse of the waiters in every aspect was remarkable. The wine they recommended (not the most expensive on the wine list) was excellent. Difficult to find the right words to describe the success of this evening at the Le Davoli! THANK YOU!

“A must when in Bordeaux”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

This restaurant was the best one we had gone to during our stay in Bordeaux. There were only two waiters working that evening, but they both had time for a small chat before, during and after dinner. The food itself was very good. Especially the slow poached egg of the first course and the pigeon of the main course were prepared to perfection. The peas of the main course on the other had, were not so nice. But this was quickly forgotten when the dessert arrived. The restaurant also had an extensive wine list. The wines by the glass are worth a look as well, but that selection is limited. It remains a good selection though.

At the end of the day, we had a good time, with good food and nice wine. Real value for money as well. I would recommend anyone to pay this place a visit.

“Great food, great service”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

This is a very nice French restaurant with English speaking staff. They provide wonderful amuse bouche between courses. Every dish was very good. I had fish and my wife had quail as our main courses. Both were excellent.

“Notable place”

Celebrated my husband's birthday at this place and had an excellent experience. The food was inventive and delightful. The service was impeccable. The place is stylishly decorated yet intimate. I hope to visit again some day.
