“Wonderful location and spacious rooms”
Reviewed 17 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We spent 3 nights in Bordeaux and had a great time. The apartment was really wonderful for us. The kitchen is very well equipped and the rooms are a nice size. Very clean and comfortable.

The location also worked out well for us. There are many restaurants and wine bars in the near surrounding area. It is a little bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop, and parking areas, but that was no issue for us. The river is very close, and the square around the corner is really beautiful. There is also a grocery store very close, which is nice when staying in an apartment.

We highly recommend this accommodation.

The leasing agent was very professional and worked well with us. The arrangements could not have been handled any better other than a little miscommunication on checking out. Make sure to coordinate check out times so that someone can be there to turn the keys over to. This did not cause us any issue as they were flexible. We checked out earlier than expected actually, and we needed to let them know that with a little more notice.

“Spacious and pleasant apartment”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Spacious apartment, most welcome after 10 days in French hotel rooms. Arrival worked pretty much as described, don't be put off by the appearance of the entry area on the ground floor. A minor negative was that the light outside the front door of the apartment on Level 3 did not work, making it very difficult to get the key in the front door. This light is intended to work on a movement detector, unclear if the problem is with the light globe or movement detector. Carpet is badly worn in corridor area on Level 3.

“The flat served everything we could have wished for and couldn't believe how nice it was and well located for the price we paid.”

Spent 3 days at key to bordeaux with 5 lads for a good weekend of wine and great food with a dose of wildness. The flat served everything we could have wished for and couldn't believe how nice it was and well located for the price we paid.

In short, perfect short weekend stay with mates.

It's great that these guys enjoyed their stay at The Key to Bordeaux so much. It is located in the heart of the historic centre, very close to lots of restaurants, cafes and bars, so it's not far to go out at night, then wander home by foot.

“Lovely apartment in great location”

We really enjoyed staying in 'The Key to Bordeaux'. Wonderful location in the old part of town, close to terrific bars, restaurants and shops. Easy access to public transport. The apartment is tastefully decorated, in a lovely limestone building so close to Porte Cailhau and has all the amenities we needed, inc. wifi. Nice touches such as wine, games and guidebooks, and personal suggestions on where to go. We visited in winter, which was terrific - no crowds, plenty of sunshine - it felt a lot less touristy than in summer. We had Saint-Emilion to ourselves! We would definitely recommend the apartment to our friends. Thank you very much - I hope we can return soon!
