“Beautiful apartment in great location”
Reviewed 29 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This is beautiful apartment behind a rather anonymous door in a little street in the Chartron district of Bordeaux, don't be put off by first impressions the bins in the hallway. The owner was just as nice and helpful as her emails to me before arriving and her directions perfect. Everything you would need is supplied from a mountain of fresh towels, toiletries, cleaning stuff and of course a welcoming bottle of wine. It is furnished in a clean modern style with top of the range appliances and the little courtyard off the kitchen/diner is a little haven to read, relax and enjoy an alfresco meal or glass of wine before going for a meal. We didn't feel the need to go into the city centre as there was plenty of choice close by.
The Chartons area is vibrant with lots of cafes, resturants, antique shops and small artisan shops, the city centre is easily reached on foot along the river or through city streets. The city public park is a few minutes walk away and the perfect place for a lunchtime picnic.
The best way from the airport is the local bus to the Gare St Jean, takes about an hour and a good way to see a bit of the city, buy your ticket from the driver and then use it again for the tram on line C to Place Paul Doumer all for 1.50€ don't forget to validate your ticket! Also don't bother with a river cruise just hope on the water bus and go up and down the river for 2€.

“Beautiful, well equiped apartment in great quiet location.”
Reviewed 7 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The attention to detail, equipment and the little extra's in this apartment are way above the normal. The owner,Caroline is not only extremely helpful she has added touches that made our stay of a week an absolute pleasure. It is well located, just a short walk to the river and City centre with a Supermarket, Restaurant's and other amenities very close by.We would recommend this apartment highly.

“Superb, Great Apartment, Everything as Advertised”
Reviewed 28 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

A beautiful large one bedroom apartment, with modern designer features in an original 18th century building. The owner is a delight and very accommodating. It was 30C whilst we stayed for several days in June and the apartment has cross ventilation making it pleasant at all times. The apartment is within easy walking distance of two light rail lines and a delightful traditional square with about 8 to 10 restaurants. We would gladly stay here again and thoroughly recommend this apartment.

“A most charming apartment”

This apartment is exactly as stated on the website, actually even better. It is furnished to the highest standard. The kitchen fittings and equipment are much better than anything we have seen before, even down to a Nespresso coffee maker with pods provided. It is in a very pleasant, safe area with local shops and a gorgeous little bakery just round the corner. There are a few good restaurants again just round the corner and a big square by the church with even more choice.
A short stroll takes you to the river, which is worth walking along, and there is a local food market on Saturday morning.
The owner Caroline is charming and very, very helpful
