“Not very exciting”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

Unless you have developed a taste for unusually greasy, tired-looking and bland curries, I would not recommend this restaurant. Admittedly, the naan bread was not bad and the pliau rice also worked well, but the pickles and the curries were a real disappointment. A little fresh coriander would have helped immensely but not saved the day. Service was fine, competent and fairly quick.

“a good experience!”
Reviewed 2 November 2011

We enjoyed this restaurant. We took the cheapest menu ( 16 euros ?). The raita was absolutely delicious but I would not recommend it to those who don't like cumin because the cumin taste was very strong. The curry fish and rice was good but a bit too generous. My mango lassi was absolutely delicious and I found it great to get a pitcher instead of a simple glass! Would definitely go again!

“Fabulously Unassuming...”
Reviewed 2 November 2011

This restaurant was in a rather touristy part of town, and had a rather unconvincing store-front - but we took a chance and were not disappointed. The servers were overall very friendly and tolerated our poor attempts at French with a smile and a sense of humor. The food was delicious and the presentation was impressive. We ordered the set menu and were pleased to find healthy, filling vegetarian fare for all three portions of the meal. We had a great experience here and would gladly return.

“Bad Indian Food”
Reviewed 18 August 2010

This is in the same league as Taj Mahal for bad Indian food in Bordeaux. The restaurant seemed completely the same right down to the dishes. Mixed up baby food with creme fraiche and no flavour. Lassie was good.

Overall disappointment to Indian food...not hot, not spicey, no flavour and might as well be baby food. Just avoid Indian food in Bordeaux...only good food ive found has been made by my Indian neighbours here in Bordeaux and unfortunately they dont have a restaurant. (Think Krishna Restaurant, is the best out of a bad bunch).

These people should stick to making their own traditional food and just serve it the way it should be instead of "french-ify" it...as it doesnt work at all.
