I went to the 7B 2 months ago, and everything since the stars was a good experience. Desk attendant at the phone was already a good experience before my arrival, so I had a good feeling since the start.
First impression on the Hotel was: "The owner or designer knows about design" (I use to work for a interiorist company, so my eyes where looking at every single detail), and I can tell you, you'll find a loooot of design icons there....
Hotel is very classy, clean and organized. This is a small Hotel, but everything is just perfect.
Breakfast was included in my price (I had a good deal in lower season with breakfast included, otherwise is kind of expensive 12 - 15 EUR), also asked for eggs not included in the breakfast and it was no problem, they will prepare it for you specially. Good thing is they have the typical "Basque" pastry called "Gateau Basque" which is my favorite!
If you are lucky enough to be there during summer time, be sure to enjoy the outside terrace, it is very nice.
Rooms are comfortable, with a very nice design (from the sheets to the towels you will see a brand, which is not important, but also gives you a feeling on concern in details). Even chairs are original Verner Panton's inside the room. Windows seal very good the outside noise.
Bathroom is separated from the shower with a wall, so you can share it with no problems. Our room had an Italian shower, which mimics rain fall, so it is very nice. Also have the choice of "telephone" style as well.
You'll find everything you need from shower gel to body cream, hair dryer, etc. Big mirror and design style sink, all made of stone, very nice.
Bed had several pillows, no problem there, and the mattress was new technology and the duvet was real goose feathers, also warm enough.
Air con and heating working fine, LCD screen on the wall connected to a HTPC (home theater personal computer), you just ask for a mouse and keyboard at the front desk, they will give it to you for free, just make sure the batteries work before going to buy new ones as I did.
Everything was perfectly clean, the area is excellent, steps away from downtown, and parking wasn't an issue, there was parking space outside of the Hotel, or in the following block.
Overall experience, 5 stars for a very nice 4* Hotel, located in one beautiful place in France.
