I ate here recently as a guest of a friend who knows the area well, so had eaten here before and recommended it. Having said that, on this particular night we chose here for the al fresco seaview. The staff explained that the menu on the evening was an all-in fixed price seafood buffet. We didn't know what to expect really but we were feeling flexible and so were very pleasantly surprised by the wide range of beautiful fish and shellfish (and a little meat) - as wide a range of fish and shellfish as you could ever expect to find. I loved the opportunity to try all those little shellfish that I always felt curious about but wouldn't ever order as a whole serving. We heaped our plates and then went back for an equally wide range of delicious desserts - a sliver of the local cake (I forget the name), a sliver of tart tatin, a sliver of frangipane etc etc. Finally there was a wide range of lovely cheeses to finish the very nice wine. Most people around us though went back over and over for more fish - a man near us went back 5 times! a heaped plate of oysters, followed by a heaped plate of lobster etc etc and I saw people having what looked like French Onion soup. We also had a ringside seat for viewing the famous sunset, though the terrace gets a little crowded for a few minutes. I enjoyed all of the restaurants in the area, but this one had a little magic.
