it is very seldom that people go, to such an extend, out of their routine to make you happy, even if, because of a strict regime, requests are sometimes a bit difficult to accommodate, this restaurant goes way beyond serving you magnificent food with a smile and happiness communicated by all members of staff. Food was definitively divine, fresh products from excellent sources, the fish seemed to have been fished a few minutes before being served, the cook declined vegetables in an unbelievable way, in short if you want to eat fresh products and enjoy a wonderful evening, this is the place to be.

Last Saturday evening our weekend in Biarritz was instantly upgraded by our visit to this wonderful restaurant.
Relaxed, knowledgable staff, our hostess was very happy to discuss in great detail the wine list with my husband (we live in St Emilion) and even allowed us to photograph the page with the Portuguese/Spanish wines we were enjoying so we could visit the viticulteurs themselves at a later date.
All our courses were of a high fine dining standard - the last time I had a seafood platter comparable in presentation and taste was at The Fat Duck.
So, all in all a very good time was had by all and I highly recommend this restaurant.

You'll never find it if you don't know it's there, so be prepared. Cosy and elegant with a friendly staff. German chef with his French wife in charge of the service. Interesting food with some good ideas. The produce is fresh and the tastes well chosen to compliment each other. Well spaced service. I just look forward to the day when restaurants stop using slates
to serve food on. Try it, you'll like it!

Tried the 4 course tasting menu last night at L'Impertinent and left very impressed. Creative blend of ingredients but all very very flavourful and delicious. Standout dishes for us were the raw red mullet in a delicate Asian style broth and the lamb main with a texture and flavour unlike anything else. Feel of the restaurant is simple but elegant (great paintings). Staff was very attentive and friendly even with restaurant being full and we were delighted to be invited to the kitchen to meet the chef at the end. Well done L'Impertinent and you certainly deserve your star. We hope to come back soon!

We went there for lunch and it was fantastic. The restaurant is rather small, modern and elegant, very stylish. The service is perfect. And the food is top class, we took the three course lunch and we were impressed. The quality was perfect, the price reasonable.
