My brother lives close by and brought us to this delightful oasis, for a long lunch, in the Old Town in Bergerac. Its inauspicious facade belies the delight behind the front door in a delightful old building which has that wonderful unobstrusive hum that is peculiar to French restaurants of a certain quality. The excellent service was matched by peerless food and wine with delicious rillettes to start, through a pretty expansive selection from set menus, to delightful deserts. My wife and daughter were blown away by the salmon which arrived under the smoking dome! The whole thing wasn't a wallet emptying exercise and I would go back again without a doubt if I was in Bergerac for almost any occasion.
