“Excellent!”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

We have had Sunday lunch indoors during the winter, and a sunny autumn lunch outside last weekend. Both times the food was tip top, the service excellent and friendly without being overpowering, and the whole experience to be recommended.

Very typical French restaurant with food at a high standard. It s what it is, a great place to eat. Go and enjoy.

“Actually perfect”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 via mobile

I took my brother and family to visit this excellent restaurant

He was suitably impressed with the crunchy pigs trotters, the cheek of beef and the cassis sorbet

The local wines were also a treat
Particularly the white from jaubertie

Service as always impeccable

“Excellent spot in the Old Town”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

My brother lives close by and brought us to this delightful oasis, for a long lunch, in the Old Town in Bergerac. Its inauspicious facade belies the delight behind the front door in a delightful old building which has that wonderful unobstrusive hum that is peculiar to French restaurants of a certain quality. The excellent service was matched by peerless food and wine with delicious rillettes to start, through a pretty expansive selection from set menus, to delightful deserts. My wife and daughter were blown away by the salmon which arrived under the smoking dome! The whole thing wasn't a wallet emptying exercise and I would go back again without a doubt if I was in Bergerac for almost any occasion.

“Fantastic food and great atmosphere”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

This restaurant was lovely. I've booked the table in advance and glad we did it as it was full on Friday night. there are tables inside and outside. We were lucky to sit outside as it was a very warm evening. Selection of food is amazing and each of the dish looks very creative. We had set menu and loved every course. The selection of wines is also very good. I've taken photos of every single course as they were the art work. the staff speaks English and very friendly. Will visit it again!
