“Our third stay”
Reviewed 3 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This trip was our third experience renting from Karen an Rob Harrison. That fact says a lot, especially in a region dotted with beautiful VRBOs. We stayed in Le Relais des Roches, the Harrisons' proprerty that is actually in the town of Les Eyzies. We have also stayed at Le Banquet, their property just to the east of the town. Allare lovely and we highly, recommend them. We chose the in-town site for a second time because we love the five-minute walk to the nearest bakery for bread and pastries each morning, being next door to,the Mousquetaire (small supermarket), and being able to walk to the shops, and restaurants in themcenter of town. Karen and Rob are simply great. They want their guests to have a perfect holiday and are always available to provide information and assistance. They equip their rentals with everything necessary for comfort and ease and respond immediately to any problems. We recommend them and their rental properties and the town of Les Eyzies without reservation!

“Lovely stay”

We just returned home from a French holiday that included a week at Le Relais des Roches. We rented from the same owners several years ago, before they offered this property, Although we loved our earlier stay in their property outside of Les Eyzies, we chose this one for this trip because it is in town, and we are very happy with our decision. First, Karen and Rob are excellent owners and go out of their way to make their guests' stay comfortable. We rented both sides of Le Relais des Roches, and found them very clean, well-equipped, and cozy. We especially liked that the house (which contains two units, both of which we rented) backs up to one of the steep cliffs for which Les Eyzies is famous and is surrounded by forest and grass meadows that make for birdsong during the day and bats and owls at night. It is a secluded setting despite being in the town and there is little noise. There is a small supermarket next door, and the famous Font de Gaume cave is just up the road. Various people in our group walked into the main part of the town at least once a day, and each day we started out with pastries bought from the bakery that is just a few blocks away. We highly recommend Karen and Rob as landlords and any of their properties as great sites for a vacation that can be as laid-back or as busy as you desire. We intend to return .

The only thing we would change is to have wifi access at the cottages.
