We ate here based on prior reviews and found that it lived up to the hype. If you love duck then you absolutely have to try this restaurant. We especially recommend the Magret Royal and the Caribbean foie gras, which was the best foie gras we've ever eaten. There are two things to be aware of, though. First, we had real problems finding the place - largely because its location on Google Maps is completely wrong. It is in an alley way near the Chateau de Pau (not in the street underneath the Chateau complex) - the restaurant on the corner is 'Dauphin' something or other, so when you see that, you know you're in the right place. Also, while both my husband and I have healthy appetites, we struggled to get through 2 courses (an entree and main). This is not because the courses are huge but because (I think) the food is very rich. Therefore, if you are eating with someone and want 3 courses, you might want to consider sharing an entree and dessert and getting 2 mains. This way, you'll feel full, but not like you need to be rolled home.
