If in Pau, you must try to get a reservation for lunch or dinner at this excellent Japanese restaurant. In a cosy venue and seating some 20 and on the rue Pasteur which is situated close to downtown, the cook has just been awarded "best cook" for 2014 by Fooding. The lunch options were entree and main course, or main course and dessert or all three...even all four dishes if you wanted the fish and the meat. For the quality, it is very reasonably priced. They also sell over 250 teas from around the world and you can purchase lovely hand decorated canisters for your teas. What we enjoyed most was the truly excellent cuisine and the atmosphere is friendly and straight forward.
