Moulin De Larcy is a tranquil piece of paradise and we can't wait to go back. The setting is picturesque, the surrounding area beautiful french countryside and the accommodation is excellent. We stayed in the Angelica apartment which was beautifully decorated in neutral tones and little touches that make it feel welcoming and homely - not cold and impersonal like self catering accommodation can be. Anita and Simon are excellent hosts - warm and welcoming, available when you need them but discrete and unobtrusive when you don't. Anita's cooking is superb! Breakfast came in a basket with ample breads, honey, ham, eggs - every day a delightful selection of different breakfast goodies. You can get dinner served in the apartment upon request, which I would recommend as it was excellent on the 2 occasions we did - restaurant standard (good restaurant that is!!).
Our travel tips: there is an honesty bar with beers and wine at a very reasonable price and a more extensive wine list available. Good coffee and fresh milk was provided but if you want to stock up yourself there is an Aldi supermarket just a few minutes drive away for getting essentials and a couple of other supermarkets in nearby Riberac. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment for self catering but we would highly recommend sampling Anita's cooking.
