After a long drive this place was heaven. A good welcome, the staff at reception were very professional and helpful. Large, airy rooms, excellent beds, excellent bathroom with a bathtub and a large separate shower. Good isolation and all of this allowed us to have a great night's sleep.
The garden is beautiful and we had both, a small dinner and breakfast in it. The breakfast buffet was very good, including a great selection of French cheese.
It is a pity that the restaurant takes orders only until 21:30 which meant we could not make it on time as we were there for the Ironman competition which finished later, in the case of the family members who participated. We had to eat a club sandwich in the garden cafeteria instead which closes at 23:30. Although the club sandwich was actually half a sandwich, the waiter was amazing, dashing back and forth struggling to serve the orders of all the "Ironman" families AND room service, and doing so with the best of manners and smiles. Meanwhile his 5 or 6 colleagues were parsimoniously closing the empty restaurant where the last diners who had managed to order by 21:30 were finishing their dinner.
Unfortunately we could not stay long enough to sample the spa.

The hotel is well situated, at walking distance of all interesting places, with a good value car park. It is a quality place with a great garden (a park), a nice swimming pool at the 7th Floor. The staff is quite competent and friendly. The breakfast is great, with a lot of choice, and proper fruit juice. We found the restaurant a bit overprice but the choice of restaurant is limited in town on Monday.

Room tip: The air conditioned is a bit noisy, ask for a quiet room

This is a high class spa hotel on the banks of the river and within walking distance of the city center.
From the hotel you have direct access to the spa accross the street.
The swimming pool on the top floor is a litte dissapointing.
The rooms are spatious and have all comfort you might need.
The breakfast is very complete.

Its a nice hotel, good rooms, very good housekeeping.
However, it looks as if the best times of this hotels have passed. Looks deserted.
There was noone from the staff at the pool. Very few staff.
Vichy thermal spa is also deserted. Very quiet, not enough staff to do treatments and massages.
It felt as if the spa was half dead.

We stayed for two nights on the way from Paris to Cannes and it was wonderful. The room was very spacious, perfectly clean and comfortable with a beautiful views over the park. Breakfast had very good choice of foods and was served in the cafe with terrace in the garden. Lots of trees and very tranquil ambience. We spent one day in the Vichy Thermal Spa which is a part of a hotel and we loved it so much! All facilities are very well maintained. Location is perfect - short walk to the center of the town with shops, restaurants, beautiful parks. We loved the place and will definately come back for a longer stay!

One complain: There was no Wi-fi at all in the hotel
