Excellent Sweet & Savoury Crepes - friendly staff - & the cafe shut on Fete de Music evening with a Guitar Duet using the patio - just unforgettable

What strikes you about the crepes here is the dark colour and the brilliantly nutty taste to the gallettes. Watching the locals was interesting. These crepes are cheap and you need not worry about not eating enough simply have another! Locals often ate two savoury followed by one sweet sipping cider in between. Service is slow but scrupulously fair. When you finish you get the menus again for another bite. Red riding hood theme a bit overplayed and you will need to book if you want to eat early

...said my dining companion. When I asked why not, he said, "tacky placemats" (the kind with ads around them) and "we never got the water we asked for." The crepes, however, were delicious! (as was the cider). The lard (bacon), pureed prune, and goat cheese was rockin'.

It is also one of the few places not in Ville-Close that was open late, which is a bonus.

They seem to take reservations, which might be a good idea since we got the last table when we showed up and folks were definitely waiting to eat after us (the busiest place we ate at our entire time in Concarneau -- so if crowds are any indication, the joint is good).
