Took a small Drascombe coaster sailing boat over to France on the ferry and launched below Dinan ( Less main mast)
No launch fee, no licence, no mooring fees, no charges for electricity or water! Very different to the Thames.
Lock keepers could be a bit elusive but why worry if your on Holiday.
Ate in some wonderful restaurants and barbequed on the banks of the Canal.
Facilities a bit basic but what do you expect if there free.
The showers were hot and the WC's flushed!
Took some folding bikes which were great for getting around.
