What a find - Pont-Aven is a truely beautiful location and the hotel was selected based on other reviews. I can certainly say that we weren't disappointed with the facilities, although no laundry service was available. The room was very clean and nicely finished, which combined with the friendly staff, this all made for a very pleasant stay. The absiel down the hill to the town was challenging although the yomp back up the hill was twice as demanding and older individuals may find this quite a challenge. Pont -Aven is beautiful with some lovely restaurants in some tucked away locations.

Good modern hotel which was very quiet, the rooms were large and had everything you needed, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and free internet. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We found the breakfast very basic, but that is pretty general in France. The staff were very nice and helpful and when we had a leak in our bathroom it was fixed straight away. The secure parking was an added bonus. It is a very steep walk down into Pont Aven which I was unable to do, but there is ample parking when you go into the town.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the gardens and terrace

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel just a short (steep) walk from the buzzing town centre. I found the interior clean and comfortable. However our room was in the eves, so when you got out of bed you had to duck to make sure you didn't hit your head

Room Tip: Remember to book a parking space. Tall people ask fora room on the ground floor

We stayed in the hotel for five nights - five nights of bliss.

It is absolutely clean, quiet and really suited for getting away from it all.

The staff were just to nice, helpful and did speak proper English, an excuse for us not to practice our little French (sorry, should have refused and insisted on French only).

Some reviewers complained about the steps down to the delightful little town, but I can tell you as rough and steep as they are your heart and legs will thank you for using them.

This hotel is highly recommended by my wife and me !!!!

Stayed here for one night as part of a road trip around Normandy/Brittany. Quite expensive, but you do feel like it's worth every penny. I'd go as far as to say that it feels like you're on holiday from the moment you arrive. The hotel is clean, modern and very well equipped. We had a ground floor room with a patio area (with table and chairs) at the back in a shared garden area which was really nice to have breakfast on. The room was large and air conditioned. We made use of the indoor swimming pool, whilst small, was big enough to swim in. One note of caution: the hotel is on top of a rather large hill overlooking the village and it's quite steep - you need to be averagely fit to make this walk. Pont-Aven itself is simply beautiful.
