Recommended to us by our hotelier this cosy restaurant on a quieter back street did not let us down. Main meals are priced around €8-10 and are large in portion and have great flavour. I chose a chicken salad which was topped with a generous amount of Emmental cheese chunks, chicken strips and dollops of homemade salad cream.

All the dishes are cooked fresh and served by friendly employees/owners, there is an outdoor seating area at the front of the restaurant large enough to seat groups and a good selection of different foods are on offer.

The crepes served to surrounding diners were large and looked delicious, also on offer are galettes a buckwheat flour pancake topped with savoury fillings which are a Breton special.

This restaurant is great value for money and we would fully recommend it.

Tucked away from the busy streets of St. Malo, this creperie is great both for gallettes (salty) and crepes (sweet). I had a ham, cheese and mushroom gallette followed by salty caramel butter crepe. All washed down with great local cidre drunk out of cappuccino mugs.

I would go back time and time again, as the balance between quality and value was perfect. Great and would highly recommend.

A cosy place to have a galette or crêpe. The specialty is the delicious homemade frangipane.
If you have cider, you'll drink it out off a traditional coffeecup.
Very friendly and warm hostess, who will make you feel at home.
A good price-value considering the touristic environment.

A quiet place to eat a simple meal, really tasty and not expensive. Looked long and hard for a place in St Malo that offered an uncomplicated, reasonably priced single course meal and we felt Chantal's ticked these boxes. Would certainly go again.

My husband and I had an early lunch sitting outside in the quiet Square. The soup came with grated cheese, croutons, sour cream and was a meal in itself. My filled galette was delicious. A 'crepe au citron et sucre' was also excellent. Cider was served in a jug with tea cups which was novel to me but beer came in glasses. We were delighted with our first meal in France which cost a little over Euro 30.
