We had a great nights stay here. Sea Views, beautiful balcony and dont forget the roof terrace.
Lovely breakfast if a little expensive. Free parking on the street outside. The weather was perfect and to wake up with a beautiful view of the bay was just perfect.

Room Tip: Go for sea side not city side. If that is all that's left, go high.

We stayed one night before our ferry back to the uk. It was a great place to spend our last night in France. The rooms were small, as was the en-suite, but we had a sea view which was stunning, the hotel is right on the beach. They have a rooftop bar which seemed to be one of the highest points along the sea front and the views there were amazing also. The young man on the bar up there works hard and is very pleasant. We ate in the hotel in the evening, they serve galettes and crepes and they were delicious. We walked into the old part of the port in the evening which is very quaint and had coffee and brandy there served by a very friendly lady. Breakfast next morning was expensive for what choice you got and the hotel is a bit pricey for the size of the rooms but we enjoyed everything about it. Be warned there seems to be no aircon so the rooms are hot unless you leave the doors open, we had a balcony on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel so the only noise was from the sea, not sure what it would be like at the front.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view

I selected this hotel because it had had a sea view from some rooms and I was not disappointed. The view from our window was out onto the beach that started about 10m away. Excellent views along the bay that changed dramatically between high and low water. There is also a roof-top terrace bar that is a great place to watch the sun go down on a summer's evening.
The rooms are on the small side but very well furnished, comfortable and provide all you need , however finding space to store a suitcase can be a bit difficult. The restaurant on the ground floor serves an excellent breakfast and is a good place to eat crepes later in the day and the service is friendly and efficient.
The hotel is situated to the east of the old walled town of St Malo, about a 25 minute walk along the sea front.

Room Tip: Request a room with sea views.

This really is a lovely place to stay if you have a sea view room, I don't think I've ever stayed quite so close to the beach in all my travels, The view from our second floor room was quite stunning with the wide expanse of the huge St Malo beaches below and beyond.

Sure the rooms aren't very big but with the whole world at your window that shouldn't be a problem, even for the claustrophobic among us - see my pictures for the views..

We absolutely loved the roof bar with it's vistas across the whole area, we were lucky enough to have great weather and in fact got burnt before we left.

I can't understand the fuss about the breakfast, of course the views are still there but ours felt rushed (one man covering reception and kitchen) and the choices poor. Having said that, for €10, it saves finding somewhere else and was quite acceptable.

Would absolutely return to this hotel should we return to St Malo.

Room Tip: You MUST choose a sea facing room..

We travelled from La Baule to St Malo and had heard very good things about this hotel. They were all true! The staff is courteous and welcoming. We were able to check into our rooms early without any fuss. We had 2 rooms or a little suite as we were 2 adults and 2 children. We had a sea view which was spectacular. Our kids loved watching the tide and the people walking up and down the boardwalk which was just below. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and well appointed. Lots of hot water and good water pressure. Comfortable beds too. It was lovely to fall asleep listening to the waves. The breakfast was VERY fresh and delicious - and again, the view! Do not miss a drink on the rooftop terrace.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel. You can't beat the view since it's directly ON the water. At lower tide one can walk along the water, but at high tide it comes right up to the hotel. A bonus is a lovely roof top terrace. It's outside of the old part of St. Malo, which may be a plus to most people. The dining room has a stunning view and the staff is great. The only drawback for some might be the tiny size of the rooms, somewhat like a ship's cabin! We were fine with that because the beds and showers were good and the view more than compensated for any inconvenience. It's pretty memorable to open the window right onto the sea. Wi-fi and all of the usual amenities are present.

I had one of the seaview rooms and needless to say the view was amazing. The bfast was great with crepe, fresh fruits and the regular bread & yogurt. The best thing about this hotel is that I left my passport and over 2000 Euro in the safe which I didn't realize until after my 4 hour drive to the next city. The hotel kindly mailed my valuables to my next destination and everything arrived intact the next morning.
