This restaurant hidden round a corner in the rue des Orbettes is well worth the effort to find it. Portions are generous, service is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant. Best of all prices are very reasonable. The fish soup starter was good if unexceptional but the rabbit terrine was really nicely done - as good as it gets. The chicken main course was the plat du jour and whilst unexceptional it was tasty and only 6.90 euros. I had the rognons de veau which came in a rich and full flavoured sauce. We had cheese to finish with and a bottle of Graves to wash it all down. The bill came to 61 euros which was terrific value.
This is rustic rather than refined cooking but it hits the spot both in terms of your taste buds and your wallet.
