The hotel was lovely, very modern and clean interior. The staff were fantastic and all spoke very good English. We were upgraded to a superior room which was spacious, had a lovely wet room and balcony. We had a city view however, and I would recommend going for a sea view - the city view is actually just a view of a car park! The location is great, overlooking the seafront and beach and just a 10 minute stroll from the walled town. We ate in the restaurant "les 7 mers" one night, it was nice, but a touch expensive for what was on offer. The downsides were - 2 single beds pushed together, they do not have double beds. The outside bar seating area is closed in the evening, so the sunset over the sea can only be enjoyed through a window, even in the beautiful weather we had, which is a great shame. Also, the spa was closed during our stay which we weren't aware it would be, again, a bit of a shame when looking forward to a swim!

The hotel has an excellent location, right on the main beach and close enough to walk to the old town. We had a partial ocean view, good enough for our short stay, but a full ocean view room will definitely be unforgettable. The weather was beautiful, and you could see for miles out to sea.

The hotel is easy to find if you follow the main road (Chaussee du Sillon) - secured, covered parking is available for a fee or you may park on the street. We parked on the street because there were plenty of spots available close by, but be ready for hassles when weekend visitors are in town - may be better to use the hotel parking.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable - excellent bathrooms with amenities.

Bar and restaurant are elegant and somewhat formal. Nice classy atmosphere, but be prepared to pay (we had non-alcoholic drinks and even these were a little pricey). All in all, a good place to stay in a very beautiful town.

The hotel room was very good. No problems. All was very clean, quiet, and very tasteful.
If you stay her, pay the extra for the coean view. The ocean view is worth whatever extra cash you have to pay.
The food, however, was way overpriced and the bar was the same. We made the mistake of eating there the first night, then found other more reasonable places for the rest of the visit.

Again...ocean view is the way to go!

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms are the best. Don't waste your time with city view.

After a long drive from Italy we were looking forward to trying this new hotel. On arrival we were informed that an internal memo had cancelled our reservation without reference to us. The hotel was full with a major festival going on in St Malo. The only saving grace was the helpful front desk team who did manage to get us into another hotel, although parking became an issue, etc. Not a great impression.

My husband and I stayed for two nights at this hotel and it was very pleasant. The bar and restaurant are over priced so be careful if you order anything! The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern and I would most certainly stay here again if visiting this part of France.
