This hotel is very well located, in the old town, which is very convenient to visit St Malo. The bedroom was lovely, the bed very comfy and the breakfast was very tasty (crepes!!). The staff was very polite, helpful and nice. Absolutely recommended!

Great hotel in the middle of the old town which meant we could forget about the car. Modern decor, which I think is a bit of a shame given its location, but clean with helpful, English speaking staff and excellent service. Would recommend.

We spent a long time choosing our St. Malo hotel, for a 4 night stay in early August 2014. It did not disappoint. An absolutely superb location, we had a very big, air-conditioned, silent room with a superb bed which was extremely restful but we could open the windows and listen to the St. Malo atmosphere, which was lovely.

The staff stand out as being super, with Alexandra on reception getting a particular mention for making us feel very welcome after a very long journey, and nothing was too much trouble for her, in her super friendly manner.

Breakfast was a tad expensive, so we only took it on our last day (but it was good).

We had a mix-up with our booking.com bill, but don't know who's fault it was - but possibly worth checking at check-in that they're in agreement with booking.com.

Would very definitely stay there again, and its very highly recommended.

Very nice hotel inside the historical (well, re-builded) city.

The staff here is very nice and efficient.

The room I had was not the first price one (which I can not comment) and was really nice, well furnished and very clean.

I slept 2 nights like a child (no noise) and it was always hard when the wakeup rang...

I did appreciate the breakfast with regional yoghurts, very fine ham and cheese, etc... I don't understand the bad comments about it (or it was a past situation and the hotel made progress at this level).

The only thing which was not very nice was the internet connection which was slow and unreliable but Saint Malo is not gifted regarding internet connections speed and this is certainly the main cause.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here overnight for our first brief visit to St Malo. We walked here from the port (we travelled from Jersey on the Condor Ferry and there were no taxi's available) but it took us only about 15 mins at the most with a 4 year old and a small suitcase in tow. Its very straightforward to get to, located within the walled city. The location is bang in the middle of everything. The staff were friendly. Our room was not ready but they held our luggage and we went off exploring the city. The check in is around 3 pm and check out around midday. The hotel serves breakfast which we did not use after reading many comments on Tripadvisor (about the cost not the quality) but there is no shortage of eateries around. We had lunch in a lovely Moroccan Restaurant and Dinner in one of the many Creperie. Our room (101) was small but adequate with comfortable bed and the sofa bed was equally comfy. The rooms have airconditioning and a good size TV. The whole hotel was very modern and tastefully decorated even though it was housed in a old (ish) building (almost all of the buildings in St. Malo were restored to their original after being destroyed during the war). Among the very few annoying thing was a bit of noise from the room next door and the corridor late in the night but in fareness to the hotel most of those noise came from 2 particularly badly behaved children. also the water from the bath shower leaks quite a bit on to the bathroom floor. But overall a great hotel in a great location. We were were about 50 metre away from the high walls which surrounds the old town and and one can walk on to get a great view. Parking (we did not use) was just outside the wall and another short term option was the post area itself ( FIVE EURO for 24 hours). The hotel also had free wifi but it was very very inconsistant and slow in our room but was not much problem during an overnight holiday. I would definately recommend this hotel to everyone and we will return again.

We stayed for two nights after driving though france for two weeks, was very stylish, central and still quiet. We had air con (which was great) and a mini fridge in the room. The bed was comfy and large and it ahc free wifi. Only issue we had was the shower flooding the bathroom a bit. Parking was a bit of a pain but as we were going back with brittany ferries we parked for two days at the port (much cheaper than the city car parks).

This hotel is very modern and spacious, well located in the middle of the walled city. The room even had air conditioning (not common in the other hotels we stayed at in France). The major downside is parking - we had trouble figuring out how to drive into the walled city, so ended up parking outside the walls. Not a big deal (it was only a few hundred metres away), but a bit of a nuisance.
