We spent two nights here as we wanted to stay with in the Walls of St Malo. The location itself is perfect, and the hotel loby is quite nice, but as per one of the other another review, when greeted at reception it wasn't welcoming at all. A second male staff member came over and helped attend to our needs, and even helped to make a call back to Paris for me, so this smoothed things over. The rooms are tiny to say the least and the bathroom area smaller again. Everything was either curved or on and angle so there was no where to put things on shelves etc. During the night the smell of the kitchen baking for the next morning is over powering. You would think this would smell nice, but it is so sickly sweet that it is impossible to sleep through. When we checked out the same staff member was on duty that checked us in, and he was much more hospitible and even gave us a fee breakfast. In summing up, great location, but very small rooms.
