This cathedral dominates the city. Inside there are many beautiful stained glass windows. The organ is up above Ne the cathedral hosts recitals.

“lovely cathedral”

Lovely stained glass windows. A welcome calm in the centre of St Malo. Worth a visit. Wander round and cool down on hot days. Pause for thought. Very tranquil.

“Very peacefull”

In contrast to the bustling streets of Saint Malo's IntraMuros the cathedral is majestic and calm inside. I would recommend taking the time to visit and admire the extraordinary detail and beautifully decorated cathedral.

“The Old and The New”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014

Admission is free. At first it looks somewhat gloomy, but this serves to highlight the restored stain glass windows or should I say the replacements installed after war damage. These are in modern art style and work surprisingly well in an old building.
The altar is special and the old pulpit with winding staircase evokes sounds of stirring French sermons.
No guided tour was available.
It takes but a few minutes to soak up the atmosphere of an elegant old church.
