Good for history - cut off by the tide which was unexpected so had to paddle! 70 years since the killing of 18 people so flowers left to remember them.

“Lovely views of St Malo”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

From the fort there are superb views of the sea, islands and St Malo itself. Perhaps a bit pricey at €5.

“Worth a look”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

The tides never cease to amaze as you watch this fort completely surrounded then hours later walk across without getting wet. A great location for a photo back to shore.

“Spectacular views and a great wandering”
Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

When we arrived at St. Malo tide was high and we saw the fort out in the water and assumed it would be a ferry ride, somewhat like Alcatraz. Today we were amazed to see the tide low and sandy beach to take us there. Loved the walk out, loved the rock pools around, great views. The entrance was €5 per adult, €3 per child and student €4. We were given a detailed flyer in English. Not a lot to see there but the views are amazing, cannons always fun and a good walk around.

“Stunning views, crappy castle.”
Reviewed 10 May 2014 via mobile

The castle is no big deal, except for the panoramic views. The sign says open only from June to Sept, but they we're open in May. Check with the your hotel concierge to find out when you're there.
